PH Hosts 2nd Int’l Fashion Week
Port Harcourt will again host
visitors from within and outside Nigeria as the second edition of the Native and Vogue Port Harcourt International Fashion Week opens.
The Chief Operating Officer of Neomantra, organizers of the Native and Vogue Port Harcourt International Fashion Week, Mrs Nkiruka Oguadinma, is, in a meeting with journalists.
Addressing the media, Mrs Oguadinma announced that the fashion week will begin on September 19 and end on September 21, 2014.
She therefore, called on interested participants to send in their entries in good time which she said would be opened from this week and lasts for three weeks.
In her remark, the Rivers State Commissioner of Information, Mrs Ibim Semenitari, commended the Port Harcourt-based media for their coverage of the first edition of the fashion programme and solicited for a better coverage in the forthcoming edition.
She reiterated the need to restore Rivers State to its place of glory and make it a destination of choice for business, tourism, fashion and entertainment stating that it was the state government’s involvement in the fashion course.
The Native and Vogue 2nd PH Int’l fashion week which will among others include workshops and exhibitions, is a 3-day event: taking place from Friday, September 19, to Sunday, September 21, 2014.
It will be recalled that the Native and Vogue, Port Harcourt International fashion week was first included in Port Harcourt in July, 2013.
