Board Boss Charges Staff On Quality Service
The Chairman of Rivers
State Scholarship Board (RSSB), Mr. Ben Sam Orugbani has charged staff of the Board to make quality service delivery their watch word.
The Chairman who gave the charge recently during his maiden meeting with members of staff of RSSB in the Board room warned staff against lateness to work and leaving the office at will without permission, saying that such attitude is a display of disrespect to constituted authority.
“Do not come to work, and leave at your own time. If you are leaving your work of respect for your boss and constituted authority”, the Chairman charged.
He cautioned staff to be responsible and careful about information they give out to the public, adding that negative information would only distract the Board from its assignment and produce negative results.
According to him, all hands must be on deck to ensure that the Education policy of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi achieves results, assuring that they would discharge their duties diligently with the fear of God.
Responding on behalf of the staff, Secretary of the board, Sir Sam Deekue congratulated the Chairman on his appointment and acknowledged his remarks as crucial to effective service delivery in RSSB.
