Rivers Police Command Gets New Commissioner
A new Commissioner of Police, Mohammed A Indabawa, has been deployed to the Rivers State Police Command. Indabawa replaces Mr Suleiman Abba.
Mohammed Indabawa’s posting to Rivers State followed a major transfer and posting in the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) effected by the Acting Inspector-General of Police (AIGP), M.D. Abubakar. Mostly affected in the new arrangement are police officers in the rank of Commissioners of Police who were moved from various states and formations to new ones.
In the new posting, which was made public yesterday,
Olayinka B. Balogun is the new Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command while Chinweke E. Asadu will resume as the new commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command.
Other postings included Aliyu Musa, Sokoto State; Moses Saba-Ndagi, Railway Command; Joel K. Theophilus, Jigawa State; Kwakwe C. Katso, Benue State; Musa A Daura, Enugu State; Mamman Sule, Taraba State; Usman A. Gwary, Zamfara State;

Others who were affected by the posting were Adenrele T. Shinaba who is the new Commissioner of Police, FCT Command and Mark Adamu Idakwo, who was posted to Adamawa State.
