Airtel Introduces New Package
Airtel Nigeria has introduced a new package that will enable subscribers to transfer recharge cards across the globe.
The company in a statement in Lagos recently, said the package will allow those abroad to transfer recharge cards to their family members and others in the country without difficulties.
Some of such countries include Australia, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States of Amrica among others.
The Tide gathered that some world leaders in Micropayment Industry Prepay Nations and others will champion moves to guarantee that the company’s (Airtel) recharge cards are made available at each destination.
The statement added that service can also be accessed internationally via the company and partners’ websites.
It explained that it will now require subscribers to register on any of its existing websites by entering the Airtel line to be at the top which will also include their credit debtails before submission.
According to the Chief Operating Officer of the company, Mr Deepak Srivastava, the company is always seeking new windows in order to improve on the quality of lives of its customers.
Srivastava, noted that the new global mobile top-up service will enable Nigerians abroad the opportunity to buy recharge cards for their people at home.
“It will also help our customers, particularly pre-paid customers, who are roaming to stay connected and never run out of airtime”, he said.
The Tide was further told that the Airtel new package will introduce challenge to other telecommunication providers which will inturn, spur them to action.
