The National Coordinator of Mr. President’s Inter-schools Debate, Elder Dare Oritu has scored Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) high among his peers due to its contributions towards educational development in the State.
Elder Oritu, who particularly lauded the Rivers SUBEB chairman, Sir Alli Oruitemeka, said he has performed exceedingly well among his colleagues in the South-South-Zone.

Elder Oritu scored the state SUBEB high among his peers especially in the area of structures put in place, saying that no other state in the country came close to Rivers State.

While giving kudos to the inspectorate department of the State SUBEB for jobs well done, he said the department’s activities have also helped the teachers to be upright in their duties, a factor that was also not seen in other states.
In his response, Sir Oruitemeka expressed his gratitude for the award saying that, “it is indeed an honour to be adjudged the most innovative SUBEB chairman in the South-South, Certified by the Federal Ministry of Education” and thanked the Rivers State, Governor, Rt Hon.
