Jonathan’s Suport Group Begins Grassroots Campaign
The Rivers State Co-ordinator of the Neighbour 2 Neighbour Campaign of the Goodluck-Sambo Campaign Organisation, Barrister Daddy West has expressed confidence of an overwhelming victory for President Goodluck Jonathan in the January 23 Presidential Primary elections of the People Democratic Party (PDP).
West who gave the assurance in an interview with newsmen, last Wednesday in Port Harcourt said the Neighbour 2 Neighbour Campaign Network has already commenced mobilisation of delegates towards effective and result oriented participation at the party’s presidential primary.
He described the idea behind the formation of the Neighbour 2 Neighbour Campaign Network by the Goodluck-Sambo Campaign Organisation as one of the best political innovations over recorded in the political scene of the nation.
“Our mandate is to properly mobilise and sensitise the electorate from the party level to general elections for the purpose of ensuring total victory for Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and Namadi Sambo in the 2011 Presidential Election”, he said.
West who is also contesting the Asari-Toru/Akukuku-Toru Federal House of Representatives Constituency urged the electorate to participate actively by coming out to vote as the one-man, one-vote policy of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will be achieved and the votes of the people will count.
He called for a massive support to Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and Arch. Namadi Sambo ticket. The 36 states co-ordinators of the Neighbour 2 Neighbour Campaign Network of the Goodluck-Sambo Campaign Organisation was inaugurated in Abuja on Wednesday December 15, 2010 by the National Secretariat.
