Rivers Police Command Gets New Spokesman
The Rivers State
Police Command now has a new spokesperson.
He is Omom Nnamdi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) who replaces the out-gone Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ahmad Mohammed who was redeployed to the Adamawa State Police Command.
Before his transfer, DSP Ahmad was promoted to the ranks of Superintendent of Police (SP) during the last promotion exercise.
A statement issued by the former PPRO said that the posting was a normal and routine exercise in the force and urged members of the society especially the media to extend their hand of fellowship to his successor to enable him succeed.
