Rivers Angels’ Ex- Captain Joins Technical Crew
The Management of
Rivers Angels FC of Port Harcourt has appointed former captain of the team, Lucky Atu, into the technical crew of the club.
Atu, who was also the goalkeeper of the team has formerly retired from professional football, after she won two league and five Federation Cup titles.
This was contained in a statement signed by the media officer of the team, Jessica Amadi, saying that the Delta State born footballer playing days was a memorable one.
“In the game of football, there has to be a day you will stop, so I think this is my time to call it quits.
Besides, in my playing days with this club, I have won a good number of laurels of which I was rewarded with a car”, the statement said.
