Enyimba Targets Victory At Lobi
Enyimba star, Mfon
Udoh has said that even though he and his teammates hate playing on bad pitches, they would do their best to get a result when they face Lobi Stars today in Katsina-Ala.
Enyimba FC is third on the table with 40 points from 27 matches.
The former Akwa United star said he believes that the poor state of the pitch of the Uyo Stadium contributed to his side’s loss to Akwa United in a Week 25 game, but said the week 27 game in Katsina-Ala against Lobi Stars will be different.
“We are ready as a team, I am very much ready as an individual for the game, but I am always discouraged when playing on a bad pitch like the one in Katsina-Ala,”Udoh said.
“But we will do our best and see that if we can’t get three points, we should leave with a point. The pitch is almost the same with the one in Uyo but we will try our best.”
Udoh has scored 12 goals in the current season.
