Service Of Songs For Late Egobueze Holds Wednesday
A service of songs in honour of the slaim Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Service Commission, Chief Anthony Egobueze has been slated to hold on Wednesday July 7, 2010.
The head of Service, Mrs Esther Anucha who announced this said the event would hold at the Alfred Diete Spiff Civic Centre, Port Harcourt from 5.00pm to 7.00 pm.
She therefore enjoined all civil servants to attend the ceremony and pay their last respects to the deceased whom she said had rendered a humble and dedicated service to the state, adding that transport would be made available at the State Secretariat complex by 4 pm on Wednesday to convey civil servants to the Civic Centre.
The Head of Service also stated that details of the programme for the final burial rites which will take place on Saturday July 10 at Ndoni in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area had been made public by his family.
It would be recalled that late Chief Anthony Egobueze was murdered last month by yet to be identified assasins at his residence in Mgbuosimini in Obio/Akpor local government area.
