NFF Blame CBN For Delay Of S’Eagles Bonuses
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have blamed the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for the delay in the payment of bonuses and camp allowances of the Super Eagles at the AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.
The only payment received by the Super Eagles was camp allowance to cover the training camp in Dubai and part of their stay in Cote d’Ivoire.
The camp allowance is $200-a-player daily and the officials have yet to receive any payment.
“The NFF have done their own part and it is now left for the CBN to do theirs,” a source informed Tidesport source in reference to the non-payment of the entitlements of the Super Eagles.
