RSSSB Applauds Fubara, Head Of Service On Civil Service Week
The Acting Chairman, ,Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools’ Board, Elder Ikechi Nwogu has applauded Governor Siminalaye Fubara, Head of Service Dr. George Nwaeke on the successful celebration of 2023 civil service week ,describing it as starting in a good note .
Elder Nwogu made this known while speaking yesterday in his office in Port Harcourt.
The Acting Chairman said the new head of service had shown his capacity to change the narrative with the full support of the governor, whom he described as one of their own.
He hinted barely three months in office great milestone in the areas of promotions, face lift to the secretariat complex employment, these are clear indications he will make Rivers State Civil Service a better one.
He noted that with the help of the encumbemt governor, civil service and civil servants will transform.
“I express great delight over the organisation of 2023 civil service week .I lack words to qualify what I saw last Tuesday, the new head of service has shown his capacity, his zeal to connect people .The organisation is one to reckon with ,reaching everyone; in fact, he has won my admiration.
“If he can achieve this within three months, we believe when he stays more than this, Rivers State Civil Service will witness tremendous change and it will be better for us.
“I lack words to qualify what I saw, we pray God to keep him and imbibe him good ideas and plans as he start on good note.
“Im happy, we have started on good note. We have seen the right man for the job. Indeed he is square peg in a round hole that can change Civil Service in Rivers State”.
They have started on noble note by approving civil servants promotions, putting a first lift to the state secretariat and employment
We belief it will get to all nooks and crannies
Issuing awards to deserving civil servants ,including retired ones as a way to encourage and motivate civil servants who have served meritorously is worthwhile which deserve commendations.
