‘Niger Tornadoes Is On The Right Track’
Head Coach of Niger Tornadoes, Abubakar Bala says his team is ready to compete in the Nigeria Professional Football League next season.
Niger Tornadoes defeated Kwara United 1-0 at the Kwara State Complex Stadium, Ilorin in a pre-season game on Wednesday evening.
Speaking after the game, Coach Abubakar Bala said his team played a good game and he believed they were in good shape for the campaign.
“We are almost ready, at least seventy per cent ready for the league, It is a pre-season game a yardstick for performance measurements to know how far you’ve gone and how ready the team is in the final lap of preparation.
“It was a good win, we had our own plan and target and our target was achievable, that means we are on track”.
Abubakar helped the Ikon Allah gain promotion back to the elite division, following their successful season in the NNL.
