Late Naomi Okpokiri For Burial Today
The remains of Late (Mrs) Naomi Nyezhinyamudhi Nelson Okporkiri will be laid to rest on Thursday, 8th December, 2016 at her home town, Ula Ubie in Ahoada West Local Government Area.
The deceased who was the grandmother of the member representing Ahoada West in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon Okpokiri Nwanaka Okpokiri died on the 25th of October, 2016 after a brief illness.
A funeral programme released by the family indicates that there will be a wake keep from 8pm till down on Wednesday 7th December 2016, while body will leave Samazhi Mortuary Vdebu on Thursday, 8th December, 2016 to her hometown, Ula Ubie by 9.am.
According to the programme, the body will lie in state at her residence by 10.am, funeral service by the S.D.A Church will hold by 10.30am while interment holds by 12 noon.
Similarly, late Chief Simeon Okorie of Ula-Ubie Community is to be burial on the 9th of December, 2016 in Ula-Ubie Community.
Chief Okorie aged 86 died on the 22nd of February, 2016 after a brief illness.
He was an uncle to Hon Okpokiri Nwanaka Okpokiri, member representing Ahoada West in the Rivers State House of Assembly.
