Wike: PHALGA Youth Harp On All-Inclusive Govt
The President of Port
Harcourt City Local Government Youth Council, Ambassador Ogoloma B. Okogbule, has urged Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike to be magnanimous in victory by extending hands of fellowship to other political parties.
Amb. Okogbule who stated this in an interview with The Tide in Port Harcourt also said that the Supreme Court victory of the governor would consolidate the existing peace in Port Harcourt City and its environs.
He also said that the youths council were ready to partner with the government in any programme that would better their lot.
Meanwhile, the Phalga youth president has listed 10 – point agenda which would enhance the living condition of youths in the city.
According to him, part of the programme include, partnering companies in the city to create job opportunities for youths in the city, while actions will be taken towards the enhancement of the social, economic and environmental conditions of youths in the city.
The youth president also said that the council would work against discriminations, marginalisation and victimisation of youths in the city, adding that cultism and other forms of anti-social behaviour would be checked
