HOS Inaugurates 2015 Public Service Week Committee
The Head of Service, Barr.
Rufus Godwins, has inaugurated the 2015 Public Service Week celebration Committee.
The event, which is to hold this August, has the theme, ‘’The Role of Public Service in Women Empowerment, Innovation and Accessible Service Delivery’’.
Inaugurating the committee, in his office, the Head of Service charged members to take advantage of the tremendous support of the Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, in approving the one day event.
He urged them to map out programmes that would reflect the theme and the essence of the annual event.
Speaking on behalf of the 12- member committee, the Chairman, Dr. George C. Nweke, thanked the Head of Service for the opportunity to serve.
He assured the Head of Service of members’ commitment to a successful event, promising to tap from his wealth of experience as he has chaired previous Public Service Weeks.
Other members of the committee are: Dr. Patricia Ogbonnaya, Dr. Emmanuel Urang, Pastor Peter Nwobisike, Mrs. Atosemi Teetito, Barr. Awoibim G. Karibo, Mr. Dagogo Clinton, Comrade Emechata Chuku, Mrs. Gloria Sotonye Ogan and Pastor D.C. Nweneka to serve as the secretary of the committee.
