Tide Staff Loses Mum, Burial ’Morrow
The head of circulation
of Rivers State Newspaper corporation, publishers of The Tide, Mr Tubotamuno Egerton-Douglas has lost his mother, late Madam Farm Allen Oruye, aged 82 years.
The late Madam Oruye who was born in 1932 and died Thursday, June 19, 2014 will be buried tomorrow at her home town, Ifoko, in Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.
A statement signed by Mr Egerton-Douglas on behalf of the family described the late Madam Oruye as a renowned Christian and community leader whose contributions to society and humanity at large were widely acknowledged in her life-time.
