Director Advises Youths On ICT Knowledge
Following the globalization
of the world, youngsters have been called upon to make necessary adjustments in order to benefit from the computer and information technology system.
This call was made by a retired Director in the state Ministry of Education, Mr Godpower Ebere in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt last Tuesday.
Ejinmah said computer and IT knowledge were the in- thing in the globe currently, thus the need for youths to be trained in the system.
He said there are now available Information and Communication Technology (ICT) centres in the state, adding that those without IT knowledge or skill may not have enough reasons for their in ability to tap from the IT technology.
He also called on those managing the ICT centres for the state to operate a kind of open door policy in order to accommodate more intakes.
According to him, if the operators centre attention on the affluent members of the society, the aim may be defeated.
