Fubara Assures On Quality Services To Rivers
Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has assured that his administration’s services to Rivers people will never diminish.
Governor Fubara said this at a thanksgiving service at Jude’s Military Church, GRA II Port Harcourt, as part of activities to mark the 2024 Rivers State Civil Service Week.
The Governor, represented by the State Head of Service (HoS), Sir George Nwaeke, also called on the Church to continue to pray for the administration.
He said despite distractions, the state has continued to move forward, adding that the quality of services being rendered by his administration will never be diminished.
According to him, just last week the government appointed six permanent secretaries to fill the vacant positions in the service.
Speaking on behalf of himself as the HoS, Sir Nwaeke said the thanksgiving service was to thank God for adding another year to civil servants in Rivers State.
Speaking with newsmen, the permanent secretary, Rivers State Ministry of Information and Communications, Comrade Emmanuel Ndah, described Governor Fubara as a friend to Rivers State Civil Servants.
He urged Civil Servants to reciprocate the gesture by putting in their best in the service.
Also speaking, Chairman, Civil Service Joint Negotiating Council, Comrade Emcheta Chuku, said Governor Fubara has done so much to the service.
He said civil servants will continue to work for the success of the administration.

The cleric, who spoke on the theme, “The Holy Spirit Intercession And Assurance of God’s faithfulness”, said the Holy Spirit will continue to intercede for those who put their hope on God.
