Royal Father Rejoices With Fubara Over Achievements
The Abuloma traditional institution says it is pleased with Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s infrastructural milestones in Rivers State.
The Abuloma traditional institution in Port Harcourt Local Government City has also thrown its full weight behind the governor as he leads Rivers State to greatness.
Speaking with newsmen in his palace recently in line with the Governor’s one year in office, the Abuloma traditional ruler, General Bright Ateke Fiboinumama ( rtd), the Obe- Omu- Odo of Abuloma Kingdom called on his people to support Governor Fubara whom he said means well for the people.
He said within one year, Governor Fubara has demonstrated his love and capacity to put Rivers first before personal aggran-disement.
The Obe- Omu- Odo of Abuloma Kingdom said his calmness and passion for Rivers development and peaceful disposition have endeared him to the people.
He noted that in one year, Rivers people can witness unprecedented leadership .
“In just one year, lives are being touched positively. Civil servants’ welfare package is given maximum attention; roads construction; students now have hope on bursary payment, Shonghai Farm is being rejuvenated. Governance is given a human face. The Trans Kalabari Road, Port Harcourt Ring Road, Woji-Aleto Road, leading to Okirka, and Ogoni-Opobo-Ndoni Unity Road are legendary projects that stand the test of time and expand the economic hub of the State. It takes a man with great vision like Governor Fubara to do this. Rivers people are comfortable with a man who knows the rudiments of governance,” he said.
Abuloma kingdom are with him to enable him succeed .

The schools in Abuloma are dilapidated , access road in bad shape .The one entrance to Abuloma is affecting us .We plead with him to open up Abuloma to easy movement
He said as a way to reduce idleness among the youths, schools should make entrepreneurship compulsory
Both skills and entrepreneurship should part of the curriculum for the pupils as it will assist them after graduation
The technical schools should be upgraded as it will address joblessness among young school leavers
The poor power supply should be looked into as what Rivers consumers pay is different compared to other States
It is affecting companies and individuals doing business in Port Harcourt
The companies are folding due to high cost of electricity supply .let the governor pay attention into the activities of PHCD.

RSG INAUGURATES ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY COMMITTEE
The Rivers State Government has inaugurated a Central Planning Committee to organize the celebration of the 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day (AFRD) in the State.
The committee was formally inaugurated by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Benibo Anabraba in Port Harcourt, last Thursday.
Dr Anabraba who also serves as Chairman of the Committee
highlighted the State Government’s deep appreciation for the sacrifices of Nigeria’s fallen heroes who laid down their lives for the nation’s peace and unity.
“These heroes have given their lives for the security and peace of our nation and deserve to be celebrated. The Armed Forces Remembrance Day is an opportunity to show our gratitude for their sacrifice,” he said.
Dr. Anabraba further extended recognition to all Security Agencies in the State, emphasizing the importance of the event in appreciating their contributions to national security and sovereignty.
The annual Armed Forces Remembrance Day, observed on January 15 across the country is dedicated to remember Nigeria’s departed soldiers and honouring the nation’s veterans.
