Sim Set To Bag First Chieftaincy Title
All is set for the Rivers State Governor-elect, Sir Siminialayi Fubara, to be crowned with a traditional title by the Alesa Eleme Community in Tai Local Government Area of the State.
The Paramount Ruler of the community, HRH Emperor John D. Nkpe, the Oneh-Eh Alesa X, who disclosed this, said the honour on the in-coming Governor became necessary because of the existing attachment of Sim to the community.
According to the monarch, “Sir Fubara enjoys a special bond with Alesa Eleme, where he once served as a class room teacher and imparted knowledge to several sons and daughters of the community, who are presently doing well in various fields of human endeavour.
“His emergence as winner in the March 18 Governorship poll in the state serves as source of joy for the community, as one of their own will soon be at the helm of affairs in the state”.
The title will be the first for Sim, who is billed to be the fourth Governor to occupy the State Government House in the 4th Republic.
