Fubara’ll Transform Rivers, Equity Group Insists

A socio-political organisation in Rivers State, Rivers Equity Group, has said that the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sir Siminialayi Fubara, would ensure total transformation of the state, when elected into power in 2023.
The group said this during its medical outreach at Okehi, Etche Local Government Area headquarters.
The outreach was inline with the group’s philosophy of reaching the unreached.
The National Coordinator of the group, Deacon Clapton Ogolo, said Fubara was passionate about the health of Rivers people,stressing that his administration would ensure total transformation across the state.
He said Fubara was a major sponsor of the outreach, adding that so far, the group had taken the programme to 15 local government areas in the state.
Ogolo also described Fubara as a technocrat, stressing that having been in the corridors of power for the last 20 years, the PDP Guber candidate was in a vintage position to ensure total transformation of the state.
He urged the people to vote massively for Fubara, and other PDP candidates.
“But in all these,they should know that the elections are coming very soon, and our patron, Sir SimFubara cares for their health.
“He has done it before, he is doing it now, and will still do it when elected”, he said.
Also speaking, a member of the group, Sir John Nalley, said Fubarawas passionate about the health of the people.
Nalley said the outreach has led to the detection and treatment of various eyes ailmentswhile glasses and drugs have been distributed to the needy.
He attributed the success of the programme to the effort of Sir Siminialayi Fubara, stressing that the governorship candidate was the major sponsor of the outreach.
Nalley, who was a former permanent secretary in the state, urged the people of the state to reciprocate the effort of Fubara by voting massively for him during the election.
Also speaking, another member of the group, Hon Dave Inimgba, said Fubara would consolidate on the achievements of Wike.
He called for massive support to Fubara.
Speaking with newsmen, the Director of Linsolar Clinic, Dr Adeline Ahige, said in all the LGAs visited, not less than 300 persons received treatment.
She said the group had distributed glasses,treated some ailments and made referrals where necessary.
Some of the beneficiaries in Etche commended the group for the gesture.
The Etche Local Government Council Chairman, Dr Obinna Anyanwu, who was also tested, said the programme was first of its kind in the area.
