Emohua PDP Concludes Ward-To-Ward Christmas Gift Distribution
The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Emohua Local Government Area (LGA) has said it has concluded its ward-to-ward Christmas gift distribution with visits to wards 9, 10, 11 and 12, comprising Elele-Alimini, Egbeda, Ubimini, Omudioga, Akpabu and Itu communities.
The gift items distributed across the 14 political wards in Emohua LGA in celebration of the 2022/2023 Christmas and New Year were donated by the PDP under the leadership of Governor Nyesom Wike.
Gift items distributed include the donation from the member representing Ikwerre-Emohua Federal Constituency, Hon Boniface Emerengwa, and those collectively provided by the leadership of the PDP in Emohua LGA in support of the Governor’s Christmas outreach, which cuts across the 23 LGAs in the State.
Chairman of Emohua LGA , Dr. Chidi Lloyd, and the leader of PDP caucus in the LGA, Eze Paul Wonodi, in their separate remarks thanked the people of the area for their continued support to the PDP, describing the Christmas gift from the Governor as a token of appreciation for the overwhelming support his administration and the party enjoys in the area.
Dr. Lloyd emphasised that the leadership of the PDP in Emohua LGA decided to supervise the distribution of the gift items to the wards in order to extend their appreciation to electorates across the LGA for standing with the PDP and Governor Wike in the 2015 and 2019 general elections, even as the party looks forward to a greater support from the people in the 2023 general election.
The council chairman, who specifically commended the leader of the PDP in Egbeda Community (Ward 11), Emohua LGA, Hon David Omereji, for his endless sacrifices and selfless services to the PDP, which had kept the party on ground in the community, prayed for God’s continuous blessing and upliftment upon him.
He promised to capture Egbeda Community in his administration’s project distribution before the expiration of his tenure in office.
Prominent among PDP leaders in the entourage included the Chairman of the party in the LGA, Hon Uche Minikwu; erstwhile Chairmen of the LGA, Chief Emma Wonodi, and Hon John Wokoma; former commissioners, Elder Chinedu Tasie Nwobueze (Housing); Hon Charles Beke (Commerce and Industry), and Hon Arthur Uchendu (Assembly Service Commission), as well as members of the LGA caucus and party executives.
