Speaking on the theme of the harvest “Giving Heartily to the Lord,” Sir Barrister Othuke Opike urged Christians to give sparingly to God’s work.
He said Christians must not see giving as a privilege but a right, as wealth comes from the Lord.
Opike said God is the owner of all things, adding that it is expedient that we give him what He deserves.
According to him ,we are the custodians of God’s blessings.
“God is the owner of all wealth and you are the custodian of God’s blessings, “he said.
He said giving to God’s work should be the responsibility of all as the wealth that the Lord entrusted to humanity should be used for the advancement of his service.
The guest preacher also thanked those who identified with the need of the church.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the 2022 Adult Harvest Committee of the church, Engr.Cyprian Orji described the harvest as one of the best.
