Don’t Sell Your PVCs, PDP Stalwart Tasks Nigerians …Drums Support For Fubara-Ordu Guber Ticket

Leader of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Opobo/Nkoro Ward 2, Hon Sotonye Toby Fulton, has charged men, women and youths and other eligible voters in Nigeria to be wise and not sell their Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) and votes to politicians who were out to ruin their future and conscience with peanuts in the 2023 general election.
Speaking with journalists shortly after the PVC sensitisation rally in the area, recently, Fulton urged Nigerians to avoid any temptation that would warrant them to sell their rights because of money, reminding them, especially women that, “conscience remains an open wound and only the truth, transparency and equity can heal it.”
She maintained that ahead of 2023 general poll, “I use this opportunity to announce to our people, most importantly, youths and women not to sell their PVCs before, during and after the elections, noting that the people should guard against such habit, when the greedy set of politicians would approach them with money in order to steal their rights and authority.”
The PDP stalwart stated that though it was God who made kings and leaders, people should rise up to aspire for political more offices, especially women in the country, adding that “we need somebody who can bring people together, irrespective of tribe, creed, religion, political divide or gender.”
On NEW Rivers Vision, Fulton said: “I want to tell you categorically that Governor Nyesom Wike performed well in governance in the past seven years in the state. He has brought multiple development programmes across the three senatorial districts of Rivers State. It will Interest you to note that the governor has changed many lives via empowerment and other human capacity building programmes. Governor Wike is gender-friendly governor.”
She also admonished Nigerians, especially women and girls who are 18 years and above, to go all out and obtain their PVCs in order to exercise their civil responsibility of voting for credible, transparent, honest and accountable leaders to take over governance of the state and Nigeria in 2023.
Concerning Fubara, Ordu governorship ticket, Fulton described the combination of Sir Siminialayi Joseph Fubara as governorship candidate of PDP; and Prof Ngozi Ordu as his running -mate as a good thing to happen to Rivers people.
She assured of the ward’s overwhelming support for the emergence of Fubara and Ordu next year until victory comes alive.
Meanwhile, Hon Sotonye Toby Fulton has commended Sir Siminialayi Fubara for his empowerment largesse towards the growth of the widows, aged and youths.
She noted that over 1,000 of them were encouraged financially while others were currently on skills acquisition training, describing the vision and action as “must appreciable.”
