Five Ships With PMS, Others Arrive Onne, Calabar Ports, Today
Management of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says a total of five ships laden with different cargoes will arrive two Eastern Ports: Onne and Calabar Ports, today.
This was contained in its weekly Shipping Position published by the Authority and a copy made available to newsmen.
The publication said the ships would arrive at different berths in the terminals to discharge their cargoes.
The magazine gave the names of the Vessels as Kotta Selamat and Columba for Onne Port, while Ocean Lady Tiana, Uncle Peters and Bourne are for Calabar Port.
NPA also gave the names of the shipping Agents as PiL Nigeria Limit4d; and Woven for Onne, while PS Maritime and Egerton Resources are for Calabar Port.
The statement added that the five ships are laden with Bulk Urea, PMS, Gypsum and Containers respectively.
It noted that the arrival of the ships would boost socio-economic activities in the two Eastern Ports and its environs, as well as increase international trade and commerce in the South South region.
It also urged traders, importers, businessmen and those working in the maritime sector to expect a boost in trading activities
