Security Guard Rescues Two Drowning Fishermen …Bags Excellence Award
A security guard with APM Terminals Apapa, Lucky Edafe, has rescued two fishermen who were in danger of drowning when their boat capsized.
The fishermen’s boat had capsized due to rough tide, as the tide washed them off to the Apapa berth where they hung unto the jetty fenders begging for help.
The guard later sighted them and was able to rescue them with the help of their paddling stick,” APM terminals said.
Speaking on the incident, APM Terminal Manager, Steen Knudsen said, Edafe, who is a security guard at the terminal, displayed outstanding commitment to duties by his heroic act.
“The guard displayed outstanding commitment to his duties in rescuing two fishermen who were in danger of drowning as their boat got capsized.
