Wike Inaugurates Tax Appeal Body, Today
The Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, will, today, inaugurate the State Body of Tax Appeal.
The inauguration, according to a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Tammy Danagogo, will hold at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt, by 11am.
The statement, had announced the approval of the appointment of the chairman and commissioners of the Rivers State Body of Tax Appeal, last Wednesday.
The statement named Hon. Justice Bennett Eke Ugbari (rtd) as the chairman of the State Body of Tax Appeal.
It also named as commissioners, Mr. Edwin Krukrubo; Mr. Owhonda Ihekwoaba Noble; and Mrs. Gift Sovins.
It noted that, “The swearing-in of the chairman and commissioners will hold on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt, by 11am.
“Members are to be seated by 10:30am,” it added.
