LG Boss To Give Courts Facelift
The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Dr Chidi Lloyd has marked the Magistrate Court and the Customary Court in the Local Government Area for immediate intervention.
The Council Chairman stated this during a facility tour of the Magistrate Court and the Customary Court in Rumuji Town in Emohua Local Government Area.
He frowned at the deplorable condition of the only courts in the Local Government Area.
Lloyd promised to initiate intervention projects to improve the condition of the two courts, in order to ensure quick dispensation of Justice in the area.
The Chief magistrate of Emohua Magisterial District, Chief Magistrate Lenu Baridam who conducted the council chairman round the facilities at the court premises said the poor condition of the Magistrate Court in the Local Government Area had been a source of worry to the staff and practitioners in the Magisterial District and appealed for the intervention of the council chairman.
Earlier, the Chairman of Rumuji Customary Court, Barr Friday Ugwu who congratulated the council chairman on his laudable projects in Emohua Local Government Area said the visit of the council chairman to the Customary Court had rekindled the hope for a better working environment on the staff of the court.
The Council chairman was accompanied by his deputy, Hon Edna Nyeche, the leader of Emohua Legislative Council, Hon Love Nyenke, former Caretaker Committee Chairman of Emohua LGA, Chief Azundah Nkomadu and other principal officers of the Local Government Council.
