We’re Committed To Actualise God’s Kingdom, Banigo Assures

The Rivers State Government says it would continue to commit to see the actualization of the Kingdom of God in the state.
The state Deputy Governor, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo, stated this during a special thanksgiving service to end this year’s Sunday School Conference of the Niger Delta Diocese of the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion at the Alfred Diete-Spiff Civic Centre, Moscow Road, Port Harcourt, yesterday.
The deputy governor said whatever it takes to expand the Kingdom of God and to bring more souls into God’s Kingdom shall be done because hell is real and heaven is also real, noting that very soon the trumpet shall sound and the Lord will be here to take His own.
Banigo, who is also a Lay Reader and a Sunday School Adviser in the Anglican Communion said, ”Our desire and passion is to see that every single soul makes heaven because hell is not a place God created for humans and for every soul that is won there is rejoicing in heaven, so I want to encourage all of us to continue in this work of expanding the Kingdom of God and making it a reality in our state”.
She thanked Bishop Ralph Cornelius Ebirien and all the Anglican Bishops in Rivers State for putting up a thanksgiving service to celebrate the Second Tenure Inauguration of Governor Wike and herself.
In his sermon, drawn from 2 Timothy Chapter 2:19 to 21, the Bishop, Diocese of Mbamiri, Rt. Rev. Henry Okeke, who said God is looking for people to work with disclosed that willingness and availability is key in the work of God.
Okeke, who revealed that God would not force His way into our lives, stressed that God was looking for a man with a regenerated heart, a man with an uncommon love for His word, a man with a passion to say no to sin and a man with a heart of a shepherd.
Also speaking, the Bishop of the Niger Delta Diocese, Rt. Rev. Ralph Cornelius Ebirien, expressed gratitude for all who made the conference a success and prayed the Almighty God to bless them.
Earlier, the newly elected Chairman of the Sunday School Conference, Barrister Ishmael Blue-Jack said yesterday was primarily the vision of the Holy Spirit, stressing that they are confidence lies in the fact that God is in charge of the Sunday School Conference.
