Beware Of Political Robbers, Obuah Tells Rivers People
The Rivers State Chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bro Felix Obuah, has called on electorate to beware of political armed robbers, who will steal their votes during the forthcoming elections in the state.
Obuah made the call recently at the party’s campaign rally held in Okomoko Etche Local Government Area of the state.
Obuah said there were numerous political parties contesting in the forthcoming elections in Rivers State but only PDP was seen campaigning
Obuah challenged APC led-Federal Government to tell people its landmark achievement in the past three years of ruling Nigeria.
He said the only projects the APC-led-Federal Government could boast of, was hunger and killings in the country.
The party chieftain called on the people of Etche to vote out APC’s Federal Government to remove hardship and insecurity in the country.
Obuah expressed optimism that PDP would win in all areas, saying that Governor Nyesom Wike has developed the state to the satisfaction of the electorates to re-elect him as Governor of the state.
On his part, the Director General of PDP Campaign Council, Amb. Desmond Akawor, said the party was only going round to tell the people of Rivers State to defend their votes because it was clear that the state was for PDP.
He said Governor Wike’s developmental landmark had indicated that PDP was the right political party to salvage the country from poverty and unemployment brought by APC- led Federal Government.
The Campaign Director urged the people of Etche to defend their votes from being stolen by other political parties, who believed in election malpractices.
According to him, PDP will surely win the forthcoming elections in the state even if APC contested elections in the state.
