FAAN’s Stand Booms At Kaduna Fair
The Corporate Affairs Department of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has showcased activities of the Nigerian airports and areas for business exploits to the world in the recently concluded Kaduna International Trade fair.
A statement from the Corporate Affairs Department of FAAN made available to The Tide revealed that the activities of FAAN were colourfully highlighted.
According to the statement, the trade fair which was organised by the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA), was well attended by companies and corporate institutions locally and internationally.
The fair, it said, provided a veritable window for engaging potential investors for the aviation industry and provided ample opportunity for FAAN to showcase the huge Federal Government investment in infrastructure at the Nigerian airports.
“The authority seized the opportunity to explain and educate the public on the policies of government in the aviation industry, as well as some decisions taken for safety and development of the sector.
“The public was also enlightened on various business opportunities at our airports and procedures for partnership in line with the non-aero-nautical “ investment drive of the airport authority”, the statement added.
“High level of traffic of visitors was recorded at the FAAN’s stand at the fair ground according to the statement, which also presented a good platform for the public to register their observations regarding the airports.
“It also provided the management an opportunity to feel people’s pulse and gather information on how to serve the public better,” the statement explained.
