Rsnc To Partner Ndbda On Job Efficiency, Diversification
The Rivers State Newspaper Corporation (RSNC), has assured the Niger Delta Basin Development Authority (NDBDA) of its readiness to partner them in their plans to achieve job efficiency and diversification.
The General Manager, Mr Vincent Ake, made the promise when some members of the authority paid him a visit in his office, in Port Harcourt Wednesday.
He said that The Tide Newspaper would ensure that NDBDA get the best in its plans to diversify its activities by giving them the required publicity, and charged the team on the need to reach out to the grassroot and to do more on the aspect of agricultural development.
According to him, such will aid food security, pointing out that agriculture was key to the economy.
He further called on the NDBDA to be prepared for the task ahead, especially in the area of aquatic and marine life development, so as to prevent the extinction of some sea products.
Describing the familiarization tour as a wake-up call, The Tide’s GM appealed with the delegation to make the paper its prime choice in all its programmes and events, with emphasis on advertisement placement for better publicity.
Ake charged the team not to renege on its new vision, as he prayed God to gie them the needed wisdom to tackle the task ahead.
Speaking earlier, the leader of the team and Deputy Director, Public Relations, Mr Obum Akawor, said that the company has already commenced rebranding.
Corroborating the GM’s reasons for publicity, he pointed out that his organisation would only be brought to limelight through the media.
Akawor also advanced the attempt to deliver on its mandate as another reason for reaching out to responsible organisations like RSNC.
