Monarch Promises Chiefs Council Fair Deal
The Chairman, Ogu Divisional Council of Chiefs in Ogu/Bolo Local Government, Area, Chief Lawrence Abiebiari Inibi Ebelekpiki, has promised to move the Chiefs council to another level in the area.
Egbelekpiki, who made the assertion in his acceptance speech soon after his election in Ogu, said the new executive would ensure that the legacies left behind by the past executive would be maintained and new programmes introduced for the progress between of all sons and daughters of Ogu Kingdom as well as generation to come.
He enjoined all the chiefs to co-operate with the new executive to bring about the deserved peace and development in the kingdom, and assured that they would maintain the confidence and trust reposed on them.
Other executive members elected include, Chief Tamunosusu Dayibara Amabipi Ogu-vice Chairman, Chief Anthony Ibifuro Tamunonime,Secretary, Chief Emmanuel Abbey Okekeya, Asst. Secretary, Chief Amangi Sunday Tende, Financial Secretary, and Chief Faithful Dagogo Onumodu-Abaji,Treasurer.
Also elected were the PRO, Alabo Francis Ada Ebenezer Onye, the Legal Adviser, Chief Spiff M.K. Taribo-Amgbara, Provost, Chief Mark Daso Derefaka, ex-officio.
