Paul Okoye Unveils New Artiste …As Peter Establishes Football Agency
Nigeria’s singing duo, the
P-Square brothers seem to have planned well for the year 2016 as they have partially put their music on hold while they try their hands on other ventures.
Recently, fans were surprised when Paul Okoye unveiled his new artiste under his new record label, ‘Rude Boy’ records. Though this got many talking, but fans are yet to understand what the brothers are actually up to.
Over the weekend, Peter Okoye also unveiled his football management agency known as P-Classic Football Management. He disclosed that the agency will be responsible in unveiling young talents from grassroot since he is familiar with the youths especially at Omole area in Lagos State where they all reside.
He explained that his passion for football drove him into establishing the agency as he has been a strong supporter of the local club in the area, Omole FC.
In his words “when I was a kid I dreamed of becoming a professional football player, like you all know we were playing football before we finally decided to settle for music and now we are professional and established musicians, but still dreaming of playing. Personally I have always been passionate about football and in order to give back I decided to sponsor a football club in Omole where we reside.”
“I have been sponsoring the club for more than 5 years now, known as Omole FC. I have already sponsored two players from the team to Europe in 2015.
while more of them are scheduled to travel abroad for trial this year, now I have decided to take it up big time and set up a football management Agency as a platform to help grassroots football, well come to my world of football, P Classic football management”, he said.
The singer aside just revealing his new company, has just renewed his contract with manufacturers of Olympic Milk after his contract with the company ended. He was recently at the office of the brand for another renewal which will last for another couple of months.

They Booed, Threw Bottles At Me – Tems Recounts
R&B star, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has recounted the early-career challenges she faced, revealing that she was once booed out of the stage while performing at a school event.
Speaking in an interview with Newsmen, the Crazy Tings crooner shared that she wasn’t only booed but was also harassed with plastic bottles.
“I remember one time I was going to perform at my school as an up-and-coming singer and I thought I was going to receiving a standing ovation.
“But I got booed. They even threw plastic bottles at me,” she recalled.
Tems explained that despite the embarrassing incident and other such rejections, she remained determined to pursue a career in music.
The Tide Entertainment reports that Tems admitted that some of the initial rejections she faced could be due to her conviction to stick to her originality instead of doing covers or familiar sounds like most of her peers.
The Grammy-winning singer said looking back now, she is glad that she didn’t compromise her style despite the initial pressures.

Primeboy Pleads For Mohbad’s Burial
A close associate of late singer Mohbad, Primeboy, has appealed for the artiste’s burial nearly three years after his death.
According to him, Mohbad’s body remains in the mortuary since September 12, 2023, pending burial arrangements.
The Tide Entertainment reports that in a statement Primeboy urged the family, public, and government to permit the burial, stating, “It’s been almost three years since Mohbad left us. His body is still in the mortuary. I’m begging the family, I’m begging the public, I’m begging the government, please let’s bury our brother. He deserves a befitting burial.”
It would be recalled that Mohbad’s death sparked public outrage, protests, and investigations. Ongoing autopsy examinations, police inquiries, and legal proceedings have delayed burial arrangements amid family disagreements and public scrutiny.
