The Wife of the Governor represented by the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Mediatrix Development Foundation, Mr. Manz Denga, appreciated the level of development by UN systems in the state over the past years and urged leaders at all levels to take advantage of their support and selflessly work towards improving the lives of the citizens.
She reiterated her desire in floating a foundation to protect the rights of children, women and the less privileged, adding that, her passion is deeply rooted in her desire to create a platform through which she can assist the vulnerable and less privileged in the society as well as improve the living conditions of children and women; especially widows and the aged in the state and nation.
She further disclosed that the Foundation will focus on the protection of orphans and vulnerable children, social support for women, and the aged, as well as health care.
