Nigeria’s Aviation Portal Up and Running -FAAN
The Nigerian aviation
portal where real information about airlines operations and services in the country can be found is up and running and Nigerians should start using it to plan their trips according to FAAN.
FAAN said the Aviation Passenger Service (APS) portal launched last month by the Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, is designed as a one-stop platform for air travelers.
He said the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has called on all intending air travelers to visit the aviation passengers service portal as a first step in planning their journeys, especially in this harmattan season.
According to him, this was necessary as passengers will experience flight delays and cancellations due to bad weather.
Also, FAAN spokesman, Yakubu Dati, said the platform which can be accessed on www.aviationportal.com.ng is reliable source for verified information purposely designed to empower passengers travelling by air from within and outside Nigeria with accurate data with which they can make informal decisions and plan their journeys.
The portal, FAAN added also serves as a channel to create positive passenger experience even after their trip.
