Cleric Harps On Women’s Talents Development
The Founder and General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, David Igbiyeomie, has advised husbands to allow their wives to engage in activities that would enable them exhibit their potentials.
Igbiyeomie who made the remarks at a special thankgiving service and dedication of Master Obinna Emeka Iwezor, last Sunday said that positive activities give people particularly women the opportunity to expose their capabilities.
He observed that any man who does not allow his wife to work is stiffling the woman’s potential, noting that there are human attributes such as disobedience, distraction and sin, that kill or destroy human potentials.
His words: “if you want to get your potential, you must stop sin, disobedience and distraction. Don’t destroy the potential of anyone around you because of selfish interest and don’t allow your past failure to ruin your future success.”
Speaking at a reception hosted by parents of Obinna, Mr and Mrs Emeka Iwezor a Port Harcourt based businessman, Engr. Victor Anyaegbu advised parents to bring up their children in the way of the Lord.
Also, in their separate speeches, Chief Morrison Daniel, and messrs Emmanuel Anyanwu and Castro, a comedian urged the parents of the child to always seek God’s wisdom and direction in all their dealings.
Responding on behalf of the family, the mother of the child, Mrs Rosemary Emeka Iwezor expressed gratitude to God and prayed God to give them the strength and wisdom to bring up the child in the way of God.
