RSG Seeks Clarification On Rivers, Bayelsa Boundary
The State Government
says it has filed a suit at the Supreme Court seeking clarification on issues surrounding the Rivers/Bayelsa boundary.
The State Deputy Governor, Engr. Tele Ikuru, said the Wednesday during the Joint Meeting of officials of Rivers and Bayelsa States organized by the National Boundary Commission (NBC) in Port Harcourt.

Also speaking, the Director General of the National Boundary Commission, Dr. Mohammed Ahmad, noted that Rivers and Bayelsa states had been brothers that had fed the nation over the years hence the need for a peaceful resolution of issues related to their common boundary, explaining that the meeting is with the aim of charting a new roadmap towards fast tracking the resolution of all pending matters not affected by the Supreme Court case.
