Group Champions Transformation Initiative In PH
The Truevine Women International Outreach, a religious women body Wednesday concluded a conference titled “The transformed Lifestyle” with a call on Nigerians to ensure the transformation of their lives.
The conference which is the seventh annual Kingmakers Conference 2011, was held at the Alfred Diete Spiff Civic Centre Port Harcourt.
In her address to the participants at the conference, the host and senior Pastor of the Truevine Women Outreach, Pastor Ene Secondus, explained that this year’s conference, being the 7th in the series, and with due regards to the significance of seven as a number, symbolises perfection and an indication that God is at work in the business of transforming the lives of Nigerians so as to bring about perfection in our national life.
She disclosed that the organisation is commissioned to impact positively on the society in showcasing the willingness of God to lift our national and individual burdens.
Meanwhile, the wife of the Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr Mina Ikuru, has lauded the Senior Pastor Ene Secondus, for her contribution in organizing such a conference targeted at transforming the lives of Nigerians, advising the citizens to shun destructive criticisms but undertake honest activities that would change the nation for the better.
Dr Ikuru maintained that the solution to Nigeria’s economic woes lies on the transformation of the citizens’ lives.
She called on the leaders to set the pace for the needed transformation.
It will be worthy to note that in a country where image rebranding is the latest jargon in people’s lips, such a transforming initiative is simply timely.
