Madam Edeh Laid To Rest
The remains of the eldest woman in Rumuoro-Ogbakiri in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State Her Royal Highness Marther Amalisis Edeh was laid to rest last Saturday in her home town.
Until her death late Madam Edeh was wife of the immediate past paramount ruler of Rumuoro-Ogbakiri, a position she used to preach sound Christian morals and motherly virtues among young women.
Aged 100 years late Edeh died on June 28, this year in her home town after a brief illness.
Tributes sent to the family described late Madam Edeh as an epitome of pious motherhood whose humility and sense of humanity endeared her to many who came across her.
She is being mourned by many, among them Prince Sunny Edeh, a retired Director with the Rivers State Ministry of Information and Communication.
