‘We Observe Road Safety Rules’
The Management of Rivers Mass Transport, Flyover court, says the union is working in consonant with the government safety measures to maintain safety of the highway at all times.
The land supervisor of the unit, Elder Onyezebeh Paulson made this revelation on Monday in an interview with The Tide in Port Harcourt.
Paulson, noted that his union was faced with no challenges, adding that government is always on hand to attend to its problems.
He noted that Rivers Mass was known for its strict obedience to traffic rules as they always send their drivers for training and retraining programmes.
He explained that since the Transport company was government owned, that it is reliable, unlike other, private companies whom he said do not deliver as much.
The Rivers Mass Transport boss, hinted that the scheme operates from Port Harcourt to Ahoada axis and have parks in different parts of the state.
About the safety of the passengers, he pointed out that they convey 14 passengers in a bus with three persons per seat inorder to ensure premium of the passengers safety and comfort.
On the alleged fuel scarcity, he said that there was an abundance of the product in the country, hinting that their prices remained same.
Furthermores, he claimed that his organization treats its customers with extra care, adding that customer relationship was top on it agenda.
However, he stressed that the company does not tolerate any form of criminal act, as customers forgotten items are always kept intact until they come for claims.
Earlier, he had lauded the state Government over its commitment in the transport agency, adding that if such tempo were maintained, that the state may lead in the transport sector of the country.
