Fan Tips Sharks To End Season Well
President of the Niger Delta Sports Development project and a die-hard fan of Sharks Football Club of Port Harcourt, Victory Onieibi, has expressed confidence that the team will end the league season on a good note. He however hopes that it sustains her current good run in the 2010/2011 Premier League Season.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tidesports in Port Harcourt Omieibi, said that there was no doubt that Sharks FC has improved from what it used to be in the previous season.
According to him, the present Sharks team looks much determined and committed to do the state proud in this year’s soccer season and ought to be supported by all and sundry.
He, thus, called on soccer fans to continue to turn-out en-mass and cheer the team to victory at all times.
Omieibi advised the players of Sharks FC to cultivate the spirit of self-confidence in the prosecution of their league games at home and away, adding that, no team is unbeatable.
“Let the players of Sharks always see themselves as not only the best, but a side that is better equipped and has all it takes to overcome any opposition” he stated.
He further, called on the technical crew of the team led by coach John Obuh to be cautious in their selection of players by ensuring that the best players, who are fit and in form are used at all times rather than being sentimental in choosing the team to play.
