Pa Kpobu, 154, Goes Home ’Morrow
The remains of late Chief Jim Duudee Kpobu of Buan community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, who died at the age of 154 years, will be buried at his home town Buan tomorrow.
A statement from the family, signed by Sunday Kpobu and Sunday Barile, disclosed that the deceased who passed on in March 2010, was the oldest man in Khan clan.
The statement extolled the virtues of late Chief Kpobu, describing him as a man of peace and dedicated community leader, adding that his peaceful transition was a celebration of life.
The statement also attributed the longevity of the late Kpobu to the peaceful life he lived which rubbed off on other members of the ccommunity.
