Rivers Lawmaker Dedicates Baby To God
A member representing Ahoada East Constituency ll in the Rivers State House of Assembly Hon. Kennedy Ebeku, at the weekend dedicated his new born baby, Miss Ellen Josephine Ken Ebeku to God.
Speaking at the occasion which attracted members of the state legislature and other notable personalities, Hon. Ebeku thanked God for the favour given to the family, describing the child as God’s gift.
The lawmaker advised people to always have trust in God, adding that it is only God gives a child.
He promised to give the child the best training required to enable her contribute to societal development when she grows up.
Also speaking, the wife of the lawmaker Mrs. Beauty Ebeku expressed her happiness to the Almighty God for the successful dedication saying that any woman that exhibits good behaviour will surely meet a good husband.
She explained that she started with the lawmaker when he was nothing and thanked God for their marital bliss.
Speaking earlier during the church service, the minister in-charge of Liberation Power Ministries, Elioparanwo Road, Port Harcourt, Pastor Steve Oded advised parents to train up their children in the Lord’s way so that when they (children) grow up they will not depart from His teachings.
