LG Boss Lauds Wike On Resources Utilisation

The Chairman, Caretaker Committee (CTC) of Degema Local Government Area, Chief Boma Dappa says the massive infrastructural projects across the state, is a clear attestation of the prudent management of resources by the State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike.
Chief Dappa who stated this during the swearing-in ceremony of the Caretaker Committee members of the local government area at the council’s secretariat in Degema Consulate, headquarters of the local government area noted that the state governor had done creditably well in the security of lives and properties and workers’ welfare.
The chairman said the present administration in the state, headed by Governor Wike had within three years in office successfully restored the state’s economy that was comatose and placed it on the fast lane of growth and rejuvenation.
He called on Rivers people to collaborate with the present administration in the state to sustain the developmental projects across the state beyond 2019.
According to the chairman, “the governor has done very well in this state. We don’t even need to companign for him. His works speak for him. Our responsibility is to support the governor.
He commended the governor for continuing with and completing abandoned projects of previous administrations in the state.
While urging the caretaker Committee members to see their appointment as a call to service, warned workers of the council against truancy, adding that his administration would not hesitate to stop salaries of workers who default in attendance to work.
Chief Dappa enjoined the people of the area to see security as a collective project and guard against act capable of causing breach of peace.
