This is the fallout of the just concluded Rivers State 13th Tri-Annual Delegates Conference of RATTAWU held at Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Port Harcourt.

Others elected were Comrade Ibiwangi Nwachukwu, treasurer, Comrade Asimea Iboroma, auditor and Comrade Kate Yellowe, Public Relations Officer. Comrades Prince Obowu and Mijam Ebegha, settled for the positions of ex-official I and II respectively.
In a press statement signed by National Vice President, South-South, Comrade Brandon Tonye-Eseleman and National General Secretary, Comrade Henry Odugala, RATTAWU said the election was conducted in accordance with the constitution of the union and solicited the co-operation of all management concerned with the affected officers.

While reminding the new officials of the need to build team spirit, the statement also enjoined them to rise to the challenge of fighting corruption in the discharge of their duties.
