2013 Women Federations Cup Starts July 17
The Nigeria Football Association (NFA) says the first round matches of the 2013 Women Federations Cup will start on July 17.
In a statement, NFA’s General Secretary Musa Amadu, said six matches would hold on the said date at different venues across the country.
According to the statement, Dynamic Sports FC of Anambra and Ibom Angels of Akwa Ibom will slug it out at the Aba venue.
FC Real Dynamos from Lagos will face Oginni Queens of Osun in Ibadan, while God City Queens of Abia and C.I. Angels will meet at Rojenny, Oba in Anambra.
Abuja venue will host Taraba Queens and Yaba Queens, while Adamawa Queens and Shettima Babes of FCT will lock horns in Sokoto.
The last match of the day will be in Akure between Martins White of Edo and Florence Babes of Oyo.
22 clubs are participating in the 2013 edition of the competition whose winner will be decided on July 27.
Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt clinched the 2012 title 5-4 on penalties against Inneh Queens of Edo.
