FG Vows To Enforce Regular Schools Monitoring, Inspection
As part of efforts to ensure quality education in the country, the Federal government has vowed to ensure regular monitoring and inspection of schools in the country.
The coordinating Inspector Federal Ministry of Education Port Harcourt, Mrs. Omu Stella Ufoama who said this during this year’s Children’s Day celebration organised by the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) in Port Harcourt, said that the exercise was not to witch hunt anyone.
Mrs. Ufoama who was represented by Pastor (Mrs.) Udofa Iniabasi, expressed the hope that private schools would support the government’s efforts to improve the standard of education in the country.
Meanwhile, the National Association of proprietors of private schools (NAPPS) Rivers State has rated the Administration of Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi high in Education healthcare and infrastructural development.
The president of the Association, Dr. Peter Harrison said that Amaechi has done well in all facets of Administration within the last five years in the state.
