Saintfiet Is Nigeria’s Technical Director
Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has named Belgian Tom Saintfiet as National Technical Director of the country’s football.
Saintfiet’s appointment was approved and announced following an executive committee meeting of the Nigeria Football Federation on Wednesday in Abuja.
The 39-year-old, who has previously coached Namibia, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia, has been handed a four year deal worth $20 000 per month and will be responsible for designing and implementing a football development programme for the NFF.
Saintfiet holds a UEfA Prom License and has held the same position with Dutch First Division side FC Emmen.
He will work with a Nigerian assistant who will understudy him.
